For Korsisaari buses, you can choose the ticket products that suit the best for your needs. We recommend that you choose the right ticket based on how often you use the bus. You can choose between single ticket, serial ticket or season ticket. All ticket products mentioned below are used as payment methods in public transport operated by the Korsisaari companies. Bus drivers have the right to check the travel tickets and their validity also during the trip, so please take care of your ticket throughout the trip. Passengers without tickets can be removed from the bus.

Single ticket products
Single ticket is best if you use the bus only occasionally, with no regular travel pattern. The ticket entitles you to one trip on our buses (with or without a change). If your trip starts after midnight (departures between 0:06 to 4:40) a night surcharge or night ticket price will be charged for the tickets at the time of the purchase. The single ticket allows you to transfer and change from one Korsisaari bus to another if needed. In the case of transfer the active ticket is shown to the driver of the second bus or the transfer ticket will be handed over.

After purchasing a ticket, you have 180 minutes to activate the ticket for use. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes, during which the trip must be made. Nurmijärvi internal single ticket, from the mobile app
Nurmijärvi internal single ticket can be bought on weekdays between 10.00am-2.00pm and 6.00pm-11.59pm. After purchasing the ticket you have 60 minutes to activate it. Ticket is valid for 60 minutes, during which the trip must be made. Loppi-lippu, from the mobile app
Loppi ticket entitles travels between Loppi and Helsinki. After purchasing a ticket, you have 30 minutes to activate the ticket. The ticket is valid for 120 minutes. Duo-ticket, from the mobile app
Duo-ticket includes a Korsisaari single ticket and the HSL zone ticket of your choice. You get both tickets with one purchase. The tickets must be taken into use within 180 minutes of purchase. You can choose which ticket you use first. Korsisaari single ticket is valid for 90 minutes and HSL single ticket’s validity varies depending on the zone area selected. Family ticket, from the mobile app
Ticket is valid for one adult and one child (4 to 11 years). After purchasing a ticket, you have 180 minutes to activate the ticket for use. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes, during which the trip must be made. During the validity period of the ticket, changing from one Korsisaari bus to another is possible by showing the valid ticket to the driver. Ticket is NOT valid in Korsisaari public transport departures between 00:06 am to 4:40 am (night-time departures). Read more about the mobile app.

Single ticket, purchased on buses
On all our buses, you can pay by travel card value, by debit and credit cards, including Visa Electron. Our fare collection devices are equipped with contactless card terminals. When purchased on a bus, the price of the single ticket is determined by the mileage. Check out sample trips and mileage. If your trip includes a change to another Korsisaari bus, you will receive a transfer ticket from the driver with your travel ticket. Hand over the transfer ticket to the driver of the second bus during the transfer. The amount of the night surcharge (departures between 0.06am to 4.40am) for single tickets purchased on buses for trips of up to 20 km is the mileage price, and for longer trips the 20 km price. EBus ticket
EBus ticket is an online ticket which you can buy from Matkahuolto’s website. The eBus ticket is only valid for the date and departure for which it is purchased. The purchase time of the EBus ticked is limited.
Serial ticket products
A serial ticket is a good ticket product for you, if you use the bus with regular pattern but occasionally. Serial tickets have the option to change from one Korsisaari bus to another by showing the valid ticket to the driver of the second bus or by stamping the ticket again in the fare collection device. The long validity of the ticket gives freedom of travel. The amount of the night surcharge (departures between 00:06am to 4:40am) for serial tickets for trips of up to 20 km is the mileage price, and for longer trips the 20 km price.
Korsisaari serial tickets
Korsisaari serial tickets sold from the mobile app or loaded on travel cards are valid for one year. Within the validity period, changing from one Korsisaari bus to another is possible by showing the active ticket to the driver of the second bus or by re-stamping the ticket in the fare collection device.
Nurmijärvi and Kivistö area single serial ticket are valid for 60 minutes. Nurmijärvi internal single serial ticket and Hyvinkää area also areas of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Tuusula single serial ticket are valid for 90 minutes. Buy a travel card from our online store.

Matkahuolto’s Annual tickets
Matkahuolto’s Annual ticket is a multiple-trip ticket with 22 or 44 single trips. The Annual Ticked is loaded only into the Matkahuolto Travel Card. The Annual ticket fares are based on the mileage travelled.

If your trip includes a transfer from one bus to another, you must request a transfer ticket from the driver before stamping the card. Hand over the transfer ticket to the driver of the connecting bus.
Season ticket products
Season tickets are valid for 30 days. A season ticket is the most economical option for you if you use the bus regularly. There is no need to constantly worry about the number of trips left in your travel card or keep cash with you. When traveling with season tickets the amount of the night surcharge (departures between 0:06 to 4:40) is the mileage price for trips up to 20 km and for longer trips the 20 km price. Season tickets are always shown or stamped when getting on the bus.
Nurmijärvi ticket
Nurmijärvi ticket can be purchased from Korsisaari mobile app or by loading it on our travel card. There is a Nurmijärvi ticket for adults and a youth ticket for persons under 19 years of age. Limitless number of trips during time of validity in the chosen validity area . The ticket is not eligible for travel within HSL. Order a travel card from our online store.

Connection ticket
The connection ticket to Kivistö can be purchased only by people who have also purchased a HSL ticket for residents of neighboring municipalities.
The connection ticket is valid for trips inside Nurmijärvi area and between Nurmijärvi and Keimolanportti/Kivistö station.
The ticket can be purchased from R-kiosks which sell also Korsisaari travel cards. The validity of the HSL ticket is checked at the time of purchase.

Employer-subsidized commuter ticket products
On an employer-subsidized commuter ticket you can purchase all the same adult ticked products as on the Korsisaari travel card. An employer-subsidized commuter travel card can only be ordered from Korsisaari online store. The card can be loaded at Nurmijärvi’s R-kiosks and at Matkahuolto Kamppi (Helsinki).
When purchasing the ticket you can use the benefits offered by your employer, at R-kiosks Eazybreak Commute Voucher, Smartum Commute benefit, ePassi Commuter or Edenred Työmatka card (commuting benefit card) and at Matkahuolto Kamppi you can use Smartum Commute benefit, Edenred Työmatka card (commuting benefit card) and Matkahuolto commuter’s vouchers. HSL area
In our public transportation area the HSL-municipalities are Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo and Tuusula. HSL travel cards, as well as HSL single ticket, HSL day tickets, and HSL mobile tickets are valid as means of payment for travel within the area of these municipalities.
All our routes operating in HSL-area are U lines except the express buses which operate without stopping between Motorway E12 – Keimolanportti – Ruskeasuo (marked with the letter X after the route number), and except buses otherwise using the motorway E12 (Hämeenlinnanväylä) and not the the old Hämeenlinna road (Vanha Hämeenlinnantie, road no. 130), route 464.
When travelling from/to outside the HSL area, HSL tickets cannot be used as partial payment. The trip has to be paid in total with the ticket products of the Korsisaari companies.
